“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospection.” Anaïs Nin.
Currently based in Malmö by way of New York, I have worked on projects worldwide. An author of multiple award-winning books focusing on Asian food cultures, my work has been featured in numerous news outlets and publications, including The Discovery Channel, TV Food Network, Martha Stewart Living, Bloomberg Radio, Newsweek, The Washington Post, Harvard Review, Publisher’s Weekly, and The New York Times.
As a food and beverage consultant, I collaborated on messaging and product positioning with US-based national brands, including Thai Kitchen and Simply Asia, for such global giants as McCormick, Panos Brands, The Clorox Company, and ConAgra. I’ve lectured and held guest and adjunct faculty positions at various universities, including Syracuse University, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Drexel University, the Harvard Center for Climate Health and the Global Environment, and New York University.
I customize my teachings based on the audience's needs to ensure the best experience possible. Assignments are given to help students develop discipline and encourage research and critical thinking skills
