Rosaria Gara

Hi!

I am Rosaria Gara and I come from Naples, southern Italy. I was born and raised in Naples till my mid-20s. That is when I decided that living in one place forever was not my “forte”. I have lived in different cities in the UK, Nottingham and Luton, for a few years. That, together with my bachelor’s studies, has helped improve and perfect my English language skills, other than having me become a “tea with milk” fanatic (there is only one way to make it right).

I am passionate about languages, cultures, and literature and nonetheless, my bachelor’s studies were in “languages, literature and compared culture” specializing in English and Japanese respectively. I moved to Gothenburg to study for a master’s in Communication to complement my language studies.

I enjoy teaching English and Italian using a different range of topics that are of interest to my students: travel, business, culture, climate/environment, and so on. I believe that if the topic chosen is interesting language learning will come easily. In addition, I love to debate, and exchange opinions. I am looking forward to hearing yours.

My interests are traveling, cooking, reading, forest walks, dogs, and binge watch TV series!
