Since the creation of the department, Folkuniversitetet has successfully initiated and completed more than 20 different projects in vocational and adult education, integration policy and empowerment. Furthermore, the department has participated in over 100 projects as a partner in the field of education, integration, and age management.
Main areas for cooperation are:
- Vocational/professional education (new competences, quality assurance, competence mapping)
- Labour market initiatives (efficiency, policy development)
- Liberal adult education (integration of minority groups, gender equality)
- Civic society development
- Regional development
