Violetta Borigard

Violetta Borigard received her art education in Ukraine, at the Lviv Academy of Printing, as well as through in-person intensive courses at the British Higher School of Art and Design.
After her studies, she worked across various fields of visual arts: advertising photography, design, video production, fashion photography, food styling, texturing game scenes, and creating characters for video games. In 2014, she became a children’s book illustrator. Her work was represented by the UK-based agency Advocate Art. With over four years of collaboration with international publishers, she has illustrated 17 books.
One of Violetta’s most unique qualities is how contagious her passion for creativity is. Thanks to this, she has built many artistic communities — for example, launching regular sketching clubs in different cities across Ukraine.
Violetta has been immersed in art all her life. She’s explored many different techniques, is skilled in academic drawing and painting, and is also fluent in digital image-making. These days, she prefers working with tactile materials and mixed media techniques.
