Security Labs
Welcome to the fourth session of Security Labs – Security Meetup's educational initiative offering free, practical sessions across cybersecurity and information security.
Security Meetup is built around three areas: networking through our meetups, knowledge sharing through articles and interviews, and education through Security Labs. Security Labs will run continuously, covering different topics together with guest speakers from across the security community.
Security Labs - Patch The Flag is an interactive workshop for developers where the goal is to give the participants hands-on experience with some common vulnerabilities.
Most of the time will be spent coding. Breaking things and fixing them.
Together we will explore the OWASP Juice Shop, a deliberately vulnerable web app, which is a perfect place to learn. We might even put an end to repeating the same old mistakes by following the best practices every developer should know.
You'll need: comfort writing code and running a Node application.
Best for: students and developers early in their career.
