Information about IELTS in Lund and Malmö

Folkuniversitetet in cooperation with The British Council, Cambridge English and IDP Education Australia offers the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) in Lund and Malmö.

With a union jack umbrella, at Piccadilly Circus, London. England.

More than 11,000 organisations recognise IELTS in over 140 countries as a true indicator of your English-language skills. Each of these organisations set a minimum band score, so make sure to find out the IELTS entry requirements needed for your application.

To see the up-to-date availability, for IELTS on computer and IELTS on paper sessions in Malmö and Lund, please go to the registration system.

Please ensure that you fill in all the required information in the correct places when registering. You will need to upload a copy of your passport or ID card during the application process, so make sure the document is clearly legible. We only accept Swedish ID cards issued by the police. No other ID is accepted. A residency permit or driver's license is not a valid ID.

You can only take the test if you present the same passport or ID card that you uploaded at registration. If you apply for a new passport/ID after registering for the IELTS test, please contact us immediately. If you show up for the IELTS with the new passport/ID, you will not be able to take the test.

The information you enter when applying for the IELTS test is the information that will be used for the test administration. Please be careful when entering your details to avoid any problems. If your name is not on the door/post-box of the postal address you enter in the IELTS registration system, you must provide the name of the person whose name is on the door/post-box. If you do not, the postal services will most likely not deliver your Test Report Form (TRF), and this may result in a delay in receiving your TRF. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have entered the correct details in the registration system.

There is no refund if you cancel or change your preferred date less than 3 weeks before the test date. Please refer to the complete Cancellation and Refund policy before you apply for the test.

The test consists of four parts, each of which is graded on a scale of 1-9. The score for each paper is published on your Test Report Form, along with an overall result.

IELTS scores are valid for 2 years, and five Test Report Forms can be requested from Folkuniversitetet to be sent directly to the institutions you are applying to free of charge. Receiving institutions can be added through your British Council test-taker portal. If you would like the results to be sent to more than five institutions, we reserve the right to charge a postal fee for each additional address.
