EQAVET 4.0 for quality in outcome-oriented VET.

The project “EQAVET 4.0 for quality in outcome-oriented VET” aims to develop a methodological approach to VET LOOP. The outcome of the LOOP methodology will define to what extent VET programs proved to be relevant in terms of quantity and quality for the jobs concerned.

To achieve the above, the project will develop:

a) Method for sectoral mapping consisting of two dimensions, level and contents (on jobs and education), it will offer a clear overview of the sector and branch as a whole, describing the labour market and VET within a recognizable, clear and simple context to identify career and learning paths. The sector map provides a common background for types and level of professions/jobs and corresponding VET programmes. 

b) The job profile which will outline the details of an employee’s job duties. This useful tool offers a good explanation of the components of a job and what the company is specifically seeking when they have open vacancies. Companies can use it for recruiting, posting jobs and providing clear parameters for jobseekers. For employees is an easy-to-develop method for identifying key components of their job. It will cover contain an overview of:Job duties and responsibilities, with information regarding the work environment and the activities that employees will be exposed to on a daily basis Experience needed to do the job, qualifications and skills necessary to perform the job: technical and professional knowledge, capabilities and their expected levels of professional contents, education and credentials required

c) Assessment methodology and tools based on job profile. The graduated VET students who are working in the companies in the sector/branch will be assessed by:

  • a) the companies’ satisfaction with VET completers’ performance 
  • b) the VET-providers expectations regarding VET results,
  • c) students’ satisfaction with their own performance in practice,
  • d) recommendations.
