Do you want to improve your Swedish while also reading exciting books? In our easy-to-read book circle, we read together and talk about the books. We practice Swedish through reading and group discussions. Perfect for you if you want to keep up your Swedish over the summer.

Prerequisites

This course is for beginners in Swedish, but the books are written in easy-to-read Swedish and you will receive help from a course leader.

Goal

The goal of the course is to improve your Swedish by reading and discussing in a group. You will practice both understanding and speaking Swedish.

Group discussions about the content of the book

Practice pronunciation and expand your vocabulary

Course Structure

We meet five days a week, Monday–Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, for two weeks. The course is intensive and gives you many language exercises in a short period of time.

Study Materials

Books are included and will be distributed at the start of the course.

Course Leader

Your course leader has experience working with Swedish as a second language and will help you develop in a safe and enjoyable way.

Hej, jag heter Cynthia Munganga men kallas för Cici.

Jag älskar att läsa böcker, kolla på k-drama och kommer snart lära mig att sticka och virka på fritiden. Jag är flerspråkig och talar 5 olika språk; franska, engelska, svenska och lingala samt kikongo. Och håller just nu på att lära mig spanska.

I mina cirklar vill jag att du som deltagare ska känna dig hörd, sedd och bekväm. Jag vill att du efter varje gång vi ses lämnar med ett leende på läpparna.
