prerequisites
This course is suitable for those who already have basic English skills corresponding to levels B1 and are ready to advance further. You should be able to read and understand texts with moderately advanced language and participate in discussions about everyday and specific topics.

The goal of this course is to enhance your ability to read, understand, and analyze English literature while improving your ability to express your thoughts during discussions about both abstract and concrete topics.

During the course, we will:

Hej! Mitt namn är Esther O’Hara, född i Liverpool med irländska föräldrar.
Jag har bott i Sverige i många år men innan dess har jag bott och arbetat i Italien och på Island. Jag är utbildad arkeolog, har arbetat många år på Lödöse museum, och på senare år också arbetat som modersmålslärare i engelska. Jag har även jobbat som frilansskribent och har skrivit en barnbok.
Några av mina stora intressen är språk och historia, därför tror jag det vore kul att kombinera dessa ämnen i mina kurser här på Folkuniversitet.
