"Metaphorical cards captivated me during my third-year university internship. It felt like magic: how precisely the images on the cards resonated with my thoughts and how effortlessly they plunged me into the depths of my subconscious, playfully bypassing all my barriers and masks. I saw that others working with the cards experienced exactly the same thing. It looks like a game— it is so simple, yet so deep and enthralling. There are various decks: resource-based, portrait, abstract. Their images are created using a wide range of techniques. At some point, it became almost like a sport for me—trying to work successfully with any imagery: the most abstract, the most obscure, the simplest, yet deceptively simple. Eventually, my passion expanded beyond the cards, because metaphors can be found everywhere. In any symbol, any image, in a photograph, or in the coincidence of lines and shadows. One can follow this path further and further, discovering new horizons of meaning. This has become my favorite game. And now I want to share my knowledge and experience. I want to involve the people around me in this game. Because it holds everything: meanings, answers, new perspectives, a field for exploration, support, inspiration, and a sense of magic.
