About the course
Start with two courses to a lower price. You gain a basic knowledge of Swedish so that you can be understood and understand others in simple everyday situations. The course is fast paced and suitable for those who want to learn Swedish quickly. Swedish A1 and A2 are for beginners who do not know any Swedish.
Swedish A1 and Swedish A2 can also be booked separately but by booking the course as a package deal the price is lower.
Course Content
You will work with conversation, pronunciation and understanding during the course and you will take the first steps in reading and writing Swedish. You also get an insight into Swedish culture and Swedish society.
Examples of course content:
- Greetings and small talk
- Words and sentences so that you can describe yourself, your family and your work
- Everyday situations: in store or in a restaurant and café
- Alphabet and numbers
- Weekdays and months
- Directions
- Introduction to Swedish grammar
Work methods
The course will be adapted to the students’ needs and wishes. You are expected to be active during the course and you will get homework between lessons.
Our experienced trainers are Swedish native speakers. The trainers vary the teaching and create a pleasant and supportive learning environment. We accept a maximum of 19 participants in each course.
Book list
Our course book, Rivstart A1+A2, is up-to-date and also has digital material. In this course we work through chapters 1-20.
