Goals:
After completing the course, participants will be able to analyze five songs in depth, focusing on meaning, vocabulary, and grammar.
Description/Content:
The course is based on vocabulary, grammar, and speaking exercises using song lyrics. By working with well-known songs, such as those by The Beatles, participants will experience English in a new and engaging way.
Working methods:
The course includes listening to songs, working with vocabulary and grammar related to the lyrics, and participating in speaking exercises. Progress is made through active discussions, exercises, and homework assignments where participants delve deeper into the texts. Homework may include analyzing lyrics or preparing oral presentations.
Study materials:
Participants will work with five songs selected by the teacher. Each song comes with accompanying exercises and materials developed by the teacher.

I am South African, but have lived and taught in South-Korea, the UK, Brazil and now Sweden. I speak three languages fluently, while improving the other two. I am a Cambridge qualified English Teacher and also a qualified Graphic Designer. My interests include painting, reading, sourdough-baking, singing and gardening - to name just a few!
Learning should be fun and stimulating so my classes are student-centred and highly interactive. I have always thought that I have the best job in the world - which is interacting with and learning from my students!
