This is primarily a conversation course, but with a literary component providing exposure to nuanced language usage and cultural references.
Each class will include a discussion of a short story (provided by the teacher) that the participants will read at home. We will be working with a wide range of contemporary authors reflecting the rich, global nature of the English language.
The short story form is alive with possibilities.
The course is suitable for those who are at least B2 level - although a love of reading is probably a more relevant prerequisite.
