Prerequisites
The course is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. You work at your own skill level and pace.
Goals
By the end of the course, you will have improved your ability to observe three-dimensional form and created one or several different sculptures in clay.
Content
We will review materials and equipment. Each session begins with some quick drawings to warm up your creative perception. We then continue by sculpting in clay and studying the basic concepts of form. We also look at how to interpret proportions and characteristics.
Teaching Method
Individual guidance, group demonstrations, and assignments.
Materials
Clay and firing are included.
Instructor
The course is led by artists with extensive training in their respective fields.
