This course is suitable for those with English skills equivalent to level B2.
Goal
The goal of this course is to help you unleash your creativity and master the foundations of writing fantasy in English.
Content
Over five sessions, we’ll explore:
- Brainstorming ideas and developing concepts
- Creating and developing compelling characters
- Building immersive worlds with tone and atmosphere
- Structuring plots and storytelling techniques
- Polishing your final piece
Course format
This hands-on course includes practical exercises and group discussions. You’ll gain tools and inspiration to create your own unique fantasy world.
Materials
Bring a pen and paper. A laptop is optional but can be helpful.
Course leader
Your instructor is an experienced creative writing teacher, passionate about helping beginners find their unique voice!
Registration
Click on "Book the course now." You can choose between a registration form in Swedish or English. If you do not have a Swedish personal identification number, we kindly ask you to select the English form. Shortly after you have applied for the course, you will receive a confirmation. We recommend booking the course at least two weeks before the planned start date. If there are not enough registrations two weeks before the start date, we may need to cancel the course.
