Preston McBain is born in Sudbury Canada, trained at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada and Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. He started his career in 2000 with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company, later moving to Ballet Jörgen Canada in 2002 and finally in 2011 joining The Royal Swedish Ballet where he finished his career in June 2022. He has also been a guest with Pro Arte Danza & Banff Festival Ballet. Preston has performed principal, soloist and corps de ballet roles in all the major classics works such Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Onegin, and Giselle to name a few. He has also had the opportunity to work with countless contemporary choreographers such as, Jiri Kylian, Sharon Eyal, Mats Ek, Alexander Ekman, Crystal Pite, Gioconda Barbuto, Stijn Celis, Mavin Khoo, William Forsythe, Kevin O’Day, Lukas Timulak and Maurice Bejart to name a few. As a teacher he has had the opportunity to work with Joffrey Ballet, State Ballet of Georgia, Royal Swedish Ballet, Staatstheater Nuremberg, Ohio Ballet, Ballet Dortmund, Aalto Ballet Essen, Ballet Jörgen Canada, Ballett am Rhein, Sudbury Secondary School for the Performing Arts, Balett Akademien Stockholm, Base23 and Vuxen Balett Stockholm.
As a guest rehearsal director he has staged: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Alexander Ekman on The Royal Swedish Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet and Ballet Dortmund, “Pinocchio” by Pär Isberg on The State Ballet of Georgia, “Coppelia” by Bengt Jörgen on Ohio Ballet.
In his current position as ballet master with Staatstheater Nuremberg he has been responsible for rehearsing works by: Goyo Montero, Ohad Naharin, Edward Clug, Douglas Lee, William Forsythe, Christian Spuck, Nacho Duato and Hofesh Shechter among others.

Ingrid Sahlica är utbildad vid Konservatoriet i Bratislava, Slovakien som pianolärare samt som konsertpianist vid Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm.
Hon har över 25 års erfarenhet av att arbeta som pianist, balettackompanjatör, pianopedagog och mingelpianist med de främsta balettpedagogerna och koreograferna världen över. I Sverige har Ingrid arbetat med kompanier och utbildningar vid bland annat Balettakademien, Kungliga Svenska Balettskolan, Kungliga Operan, DOCH, Cullbergbaletten, Borgbaletten, Norrdans, Skånes Dansteater, GöteborgsOperan, Nacka Musikskola, St. Eriks Gymnasium, och Kulturama. Ingrid har även drivit en egen pianoskola på Kungsholmen i Stockholm.

As a teacher he is trained in the Vaganova and Cecchetti methods and his classes are a blend of both creating a dynamic, musical and challenging class. With emphasis on port de bras, footwork and quality of execution.
