-English is more than absorbing facts; it is acquiring understanding. I believe learning should be fun and interactive. It is important to express yourself and have a good vocabulary in a language. I want to spread the knowledge of speaking English and able to express yourself with others.
Hello!
My name is Pooja Chand. I have been a clinical supervisor for the past eight years in Nursing. I have represented my country (Fiji) on an international level in terms of research. I have motivated a lot of students to be more confident in their field of work.
In my courses you will be able to explore new subjects as well as some of your own topics of interest. My aim is always to boost your confidence in speaking English.
I am a student at Umeå University pursuing my second master’s in public health. I am a registered nurse from Fiji who has completed master’s in nursing. I take keen interest in research, meeting new people, photography and travelling.
I also volunteer with Vän i Umeå organizing and participating in numerous activities.
