What is tested?
The content for each exam is based on everyday work and business tasks and is designed to develop your business English skills. Reading, writing, listening and speaking will be tested. For more information about the format and timings, please refer to the links below.
All parts of the Cambridge C1 Business Higher Computer based exam will be held on Saturday 9 May 2020. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 29 April 2020 but early application is advised as places are limited.
How to register
You should register to the exam by clicking on the “Boka kursen nu” box to the right in the menu. Please note that although the text refers to a course, you are registering for an exam. Once you have applied, you will automatically be registered for a place and you will be invoiced for the exam fee. You will receive a “Confirmation of Entry” by email approximately one-two weeks before the exam date. This will give you details about the time, date and location of the written exam and the speaking test. This will be emailed to you using the email address you provided when you registered. Please make sure you check your email regularly. Please save your Confirmation of Entry as it will also tell you how to get your exam results.
Please inform us when you register if we need to make special arrangements for you such as extra time during the exam. This could be due to hearing, visual or physical disability or a learning difficulty such as dyslexia. We must have supporting letters/documents with the application as these have to be submitted to Cambridge in advance for approval. This should be on official headed paper and signed by the doctor/consultant. We cannot make any arrangements on the day itself if the documents have not been submitted in advance.
Candidate test day photo registration and consent form
Cambridge English require all candidates to have a photograph taken on the exam day which will then be stored on the secure Cambridge Assessment Results Verification site. This is partly to avoid malpractice and partly so that any future university or employer can verify your results. Only you however can decide which organisation or individual has access. By registering to a Cambridge exam, you are giving your permission to be photographed on the test date and that the photograph will be held on the site. When you register for an exam, the Exam Manager will email you a consent form for you to sign.If you are under 18 then your parent or guardian should sign on your behalf
After the closing date of entry, the Cambridge Assessement cancellation policy is applied and overrides that of Folkuniversitetet. This means that after the final date no changes, cancellations or refunds are permitted. Please see the Conditions of Entry below for further information. When you register for a Cambridge exam, you agree to these conditions.
Cambridge Assessment publish the results online 2-3 weeks after the date of the examination.
