Study paths
At sfi, there are courses for everyone. We help you decide which course to start with and how quickly you can progress.
You start with the course and study path that best suits you. You can stop after each course, but the goal is for you to continue to Course D. All courses have the same requirements, regardless of which study path you choose.
Study Path 1 with Courses A, B, C, and D is for those who have had little schooling (0–5 years) in their home country. Study Path 2, which includes Courses B, C, and D, is for those who have completed elementary school (6–9 years) in their home country. Study Path 3 consists of Courses C and D and is for those who have studied extensively (10 years or more) in their home country.
Your choice of study path and course is made based on an assessment of your previous knowledge and other important factors, to ensure you can meet the course requirements.
When you start here at Folkuniversitetet, you begin with an introductory course. During this course, we evaluate your skills and create a plan for your studies.
