Join our international course days for folk music in Södertälje 26-29 August 2020.

Teaching in groups and individually takes place Wednesday afternoon to Friday afternoon with different activities in the evenings. Saturday we all take our instruments with us and go on a steamboat cruise to the historical site Birka on the island Björkö.

Teaching will be done in English and by ear (no sheet music provided). Participants bring their own recordning devices.
We offer six different courses, see below for more information on each course.
Register early to the four day courses in order to:
- get the desired teacher for individual lessons,
- be able to rent the instrument of your choice,
- avoid a higher registration fee (4400 SEK) after the 31st of March
Please note: Accomodation is not included in the course fee. However, participants can book their B&B stay at Hagaberg directly. Participants may also arrange their own stay elsewhere.

The course will be held at Hagaberg folk high school, www.hagaberg.fhsk.se a beautiful oasis in the city of Södertälje, just south of Stockholm. Södertälje is a good basis for exploring the Sörmland region and has excellent access to public transportation (45 min with commuter train to Stockholm City).
