Content
Dansutbildning basår focuses on the connection between dance technique, improvisation and composition, and stage expression. Classes in ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, and street/hip-hop provide you with a strong foundation for applying to higher studies in Sweden or internationally.
The program also includes improvisation and composition, stage projects, dance theory, audition training, nutrition, yoga, mental training, and individual coaching.
Workshops, performances, and benefits
During the year, you will take part in inspiring workshops and masterclasses in collaboration with, among others, Norrlandsoperan, Norrdans and Dans i Västerbotten. You will also have the opportunity to attend performances in their current programme free of charge. You will also perform together with your dance class in shows produced by Balettakademien.
As a student in Dansutbildning basår, you take part for free in Balettakademien’s evening courses, subject to availability, and you also have the privilege to use the dance studios for your own creative work.
