Advice and help in deciding whether further care is necessary. You can call them if you’re under 18, a guardian, or if you work in health care, education or social care.

A support chat service where children and young people up to 25 years old can chat anonymously about anything they like.

Killfrågor (Advice chat service for boys and young men)

A support chat service provided by the organisation MÄN and aimed at anyone who identifies as a young man between the ages of 10 and 20.

Nätvandrarchatten (Digital outreach support chat service)

For young people aged between 12 and 25 who just want to chat with a trusted adult or talk about something that’s bothering them. The chatline volunteers work for the Church of Sweden.

Tilia (A non-profit that promotes the mental health of adolescents and young adults)

Tilia provides compassionate support for adolescents and young adults anywhere in Sweden, regardless of gender identity or whether they are experiencing mental distress.

Tjejzonen (“The Girl Zone” support chat service)

At Tjejzonen you can talk to a “Big Sister”, who’ll listen to you when you feel you need it.

Unga Relationer (Young Relationships)

Unga relationer provides support and information to people under 20 who are being abused in a relationship, know someone who is being abused, or are themselves abusing someone.

Kvinnofridslinjen (National Women’s Helpline)

A helpline for women who’ve been subjected to threats or violence. Loved ones are also welcome to call. The helpline advisor has a duty of confidentiality. Calls are anonymous and won’t appear in your phone bill.

Substance abuse


AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) 

AA provides a helpline that you can call anonymously to ask questions about AA and alcohol. It is also for the friends and relatives of people who drink too much. The helpline advisors have personal experience of alcohol abuse and are sober alcoholics.

The Alcohol Line is available both for people who need support in changing their drinking habits and for people who are worried about someone else.

Dopingjouren (Doping helpline)

A helpline service for anyone with questions about anabolic androgenic steroids. Callers are anonymous and confidentiality applies. Dopingjouren answers questions about effects, side-effects and substances, and provides counselling and emotional support to relatives and to people who are abusing steroids.

A place for anyone affected by drugs. Droghjälpen provides information, advice and support to people who are thinking about their drug habits or worried about someone they care about.

A support chat service for people who need someone to talk to about self-harm, eating disorders and other self-destructive behaviour, both individuals that self-harm and loved ones who need support.

Ätstörningslinjen (Eating Disorder Helpline)

A national helpline via Frisk & Fri. You can call if you have questions about eating disorders. The line is staffed by volunteers with personal experience of eating disorders.

Provides support to victims of crime as well as witnesses to a crime
