Terms of registration

Please find below the terms of registration for Balettakademien Stockholm.

Balettakademien is part of Folkuniversitetet. Registration is legally binding unless it is withdrawn in compliance with the rules of Right of Withdrawal. Right of Withdrawal entitles you to cancel your registration by notifying Folkuniversitetet of your intention to cancel within 14 days of the day that you received your confirmation of registration. If you have not received a confirmation of registration but only a course notification, the right of withdrawal applies within 14 days of the day that you received the course notification. If the course has already started and the right of withdrawal still applies, it is still possible to cancel. However, in this case you will be charged for the classes that you have already attended.

Once the right of withdrawal has expired, the following applies: if you cancel your registration later than one week before the start of the course, you will be charged an administration fee of 10% of the total course fee, though not less than SEK 100. If you discontinue a started course, you will be liable to pay the full course fee. If you discontinue a started course due to a permanent obstacle to your ability to continue attending the course (for example an illness supported by a medical certificate, a permanent relocation, or another comparable unforeseen reason), the remaining portion of your course fee will be refunded, less the cost of any course materials.

The same terms apply for children’s dance courses as for other courses, with the exception that children’s dance courses may be cancelled 1-3 weeks into the course. You will be charged for the classes that your child has attended as well as an administration fee of 10% of the total course fee. For “Dansa” cards, which in any case entitle you to a substantial discount per course, the following applies: if you miss more than half a term due to a permanent obstacle to you attending the course, as described above, you will be charged half the course fee plus an administration fee of 10% of the total course fee. For prices and terms for our programmes please see the information under the relevant headings on the website.

In order to receive a refund, you must contact Balettakademien within two weeks of the day that you discontinued the course and submit appropriate proof as soon as possible.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

In the event that Balettakademien is forced to cancel a course before the first class, you are entitled to a full refund of the course fee. If the start of the courses is postponed by more than a week, you are entitled to cancel your registration and receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change teacher or location if necessary. In the event of a complaint, the rules of the Consumer Services Act apply.

CHANGING COURSE

As a rule, you may only change course during the first three weeks of a course.

Please contact our Customer Service or the Balettakademien office if you need to change course.
