Jesper is responsible for school computers and administration.

Jesper Elén (b. 1957 in Arild) studied percussion at Malmö Academy of Music under prof. Bent Lylloff and Ed Thigpen 1976-81. Afterwards, private studies in New York with Buster Bailey of the New York Philharmonic. Worked 18 years as a professional freelance percussion player with several Swedish and Danish symphony orchestras and 1976-82 also with the Malmö Percussion Ensemble. Worked as a jazz drummer with Equinox, Helge Albins and Tomas Franck Quartets as well as his own group, The Grand Band, playing mostly original compositions. Lived in Copenhagen 1983-92 and worked with symphony orchestras as well as a big part of the Danish jazz elite.

Studied composition with Sven-David Sandström 1995-97 at the then newly started, The Gotland School of Music Composition. Also studied composition with Erik Jørgensen. Besides his work at school Jesper also works at the Visby International Centre for Composers as studio manager. Recent years he has worked exclusively with electro-acoustic music.
