Winston Reynolds

Winston Reynolds is a cross-disciplinary movement artist working between contemporary dance, circus methodology, and athletic research. His practice merges acrobatics, improvisation & physical theatre, cultivating a physical language that is both athletically and intuitively driven.

He has collaborated as performer & assistant choreographer with international creators including Yoann Bourgeois, Alexander Vantournhout & Fernando Melo, as well as the research collective ferus animi // terra nova. Winston is also part of the touring production “TEMPO” by Fernando Melo & Kalle Nio, a work that continues to travel across Europe.

In 2025, he created a new full-length ensemble performance “a circumstance” for Balettakademien Gothenburg, expanding his long-term research into liminality, circumstance, and the dynamics of collective physical states.

His choreographic voice sits at the intersection of surrealism, subtle humor and spontaneity — informed by his improvisational, acrobatic & somatic inquiry, Winston is currently developing new commissions and long-form research processes that bridge technical depth with experiential and emotional clarity.
