SFI - Learn Swedish
Want to learn Swedish for free? Ready to go beyond just “hej” and “tack”? In our Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) programme, you’ll learn more than just the language.
Besides learning Swedish, we will help you understand Swedish society and working life, so you can build the skills and confidence to be yourself in your new everyday life.
What you learn from SFI
With SFI, you learn practical Swedish for everyday life, work and society. You develop both speaking and writing skills, gain knowledge about Swedish culture and the labour market, and get support in effective study techniques.
Is SFI right for you?
SFI is for anyone who wants to learn basic Swedish. If you are 16 or older and have a Swedish personal identity number, you are entitled to free SFI education and may choose your school.
Why study with us?
At Södra Folkhögskolan Helsingborg, we offer a warm and inclusive learning environment. Our experienced and dedicated teachers adapt lessons to each student’s needs, use modern and creative teaching methods, and teach in Swedish from day one.
