This course is open to anyone, whether you're just starting out or already have some drawing experience.

Goal

The aim of this course is to help you learning the fundamentals of Portrait. You will draw a complete portrait that feels alive, capturing facial features, emotion, and personality in your own style.

Course structure

The course includes practical exercises and step-by-step guidance to build your skills. You’ll receive personalized feedback to help you progress at your own pace. The course is conducted in English.

The course is held via Zoom - simple and accessible! You will receive a link before the course begins and you only need a computer, tablet with internet. We see each other during the lessons to give and receive feedback.

Study materials

For traditional drawing:

A4 sketchbook or drawing paper

Pencil (HB or 2B), eraser, and sharpener

Fineliner or black pen (optional)

Colored pencils or markers (optional)

For digital drawing:

Tablet with stylus (e.g. iPad with Apple Pencil)

Drawing app (e.g. Procreate, Studio Paint or similar)

Charger and internet connection

Choose the tools you feel most comfortable with—both options work well!
