I jazzen ingår allt från lyriska kombinationer med influenser av modernt till funk och olika streetstilar, och vi hämtar inspiration från olika musikstilar.
Klassen börjar med en grundlig uppvärmning, sedan följer oftast diagonaler med stegkombinationer över golvet. Under terminens gång övar vi in olika koreografier. Du kommer att jobba rejält fysiskt i högt tempo med både explosivitet och förlängningar. Alla lärare undervisar i sin individuella stil.
Klassen undervisas på engelska!
Förkunskaper: Intermediate - minst två till tre års förkunskaper. Kursen är för ungdomar från 16 år och vuxna.
Kursledare
Maria Sundin
Maria is a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer. She has a bachelor degree in arts from Tallinn University and has studied pedagogy at Stockholm University.
Over the years, Maria has participated in various courses, workshops and is also trained as a yoga teacher.
Maria works as the head teacher in jazz dance at Stockholm Musikalartist Utbildning. She also works at Balettakademien Stockholm where she teaches at professional dancer education and at
one-year education in jazz/commercial, Proffs classes and Summer Camp.
Over the years, Maria has danced and choreographed various events, shows and musicals.
At Maria's classes you can dance everything from Lyrical jazz to Musical Theater and really experience the magic of jazz dance.
Through a wide range of different jazz techniques and her ability to convey them in a methodical and clear way, Maria allows you to become curious about your own abilities and really learn to challenge your weaknesses and strengthen your strengths.

Anthony Lomuljo
Anthony Lomuljo was born in California and trained at The Juilliard School.
At his time at Juilliard he’s worked and created with Sidra Bell, David Parker, Adam Houghland, Johannes Wieland and Azsure Barton, as well as performed in the works of José Limón, Mark Morris, Jerome Robbins and Crystal Pite among others.
Upon graduating in 2010, Lomuljo joined the GöteborgsOperans Balett, under the direction of Johannes Öhman and later Adolphe Binder. In 2012, Lomuljo joined The Royal Swedish Ballet as a second-soloist and has performed in both the classical and contemporary repertoire. That same year, Anthony was chosen by Mats Ek to play the title role of Romeo in his rendition of Julia och Romeo winning an Olivier Award for “New Dance Production Prize” in 2015. In 2014 Lomuljo was promoted to first-soloist. Anthony Lomuljo later started freelancing, both preforming, teaching and as a choreographer.
