Uprooted
The team who created the critically acclaimed award-winning Jazz Dance Documentary ‘Uprooted - The Journey of Jazz Dance’ have created an Uprooted Educational branch. Their goal is to foster dance artists within the jazz dance art form by providing programs to nurture the jazz community. This summer they are bringing their Jazz Dance Intensive to Stockholm for the first time!
The event is in partnership with Balettakademien and the University of the Arts, Stockholm, will run from August 11th and 14th , 2025. The UPROOTED impressive faculty include renowned educators and artists: Zak Nemorin (co-creator of the Documentary and Artistic director of MPA college), Jreena Green, Aggie Nonsizi, and Robin Gee.
This incredible jazz dance intensive will give the jazz dance community an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and explore all branches of the jazz dance tree in a safe and authentic space.
