Kusi Castro did her dance education in Paris where she was born. First at the Conservatoire and then in Cannes at the Rosella Hightower Superior school of Dance. In parallel all these years she has been coached by Marc Du Bouaÿs and Evelyne Desutter who really shaped her dancing.
Kusi has danced in different European companies such as Leipziger Ballett in Germany directed by Paul Chalmer, Ballet de l’Opéra National de Bordeaux directed by Charles Jude, Ballet de l’Opéra National du Rhin directed by Ivan Cavallari, Ballet du Capitole de Toulouse directed by Kader Belarbi, Royal Swedish Ballet directed by Johannes Öhman.
Her repertoire includes choreographers like Paul Chalmer, Georges Balanchine, Uwe Scholz, John Cranko, Stephan Thoss, Rui Lopez Graça, Mario Pistoni, Rudolf Nurejev, Serge Lifar, Pär Isberg, Natalia Makarova, Natalia Conus, Benjamin Millepied, Roland Petit, Marcia Haydée and Auguste Bournonville.
While still dancing she got her Ballet teacher diploma from the French ministry of Culture in 2015 upon her career and experience. She is also a certified Stott Pilates Instructor and a certified PBT instructor.
