“They’ll learn the tools to help them polish and bring the music inside their heads to life! I’ll be presenting a series of techniques throughout the course, and teaching them the best way to master and simplify the process of improvisation and music creation.”

Who are your courses aimed at?
“I teach two courses, one for beginners and another for intermediate guitarists. This enables anybody looking to explore the Lead Guitar programme to acquire the essential tools for creating guitar solos.”
What got you interested in guitar solos?
“Guitar solos are pure artistic expression. At the first glance, the concept seems limited as there are only 12 notes with which to create a great solo, but there are more elements involved and the notes are pointless without real intention, knowledge, and sensibility. It’s a balance of emotional intelligence, strategy and good taste. People who are learning the techniques and practicing how to balance the elements are quite often perceived as more intelligent.”
“Imagine songs like Another Brick in the Wall (Pink Floyd), Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen), Sweet Child O’ Mine (Guns N’ Roses) or Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits) without a guitar solo? The songs would lose much of their energy and expression, and even their identity.”

Om Thiago Trinsi
Thiago Trinsi är gitarrist och lärare med en masterexamen i Orkestrering för film, spel och tv. Han har undervisat i mer än 20 år och har lång erfarenhet av distansundervisning. 2020 belönades han med utmärkelsen “Teacher of The Year” av LessonFace, en av de mest framstående online-utbildningsinstitutionerna i New York. Utöver att undervisa arbetar han bland annat med musikproduktion och som musiker med kontinentsöverskridande samarbeten. Bland hans samarbetspartners finns artister, producenter och företag från Brasilien, USA, Storbritannien, Kanada, Australien, Italien, Frankrike och Grekland, för att nämna några.
Thiago är ursprungligen från Brasilien men bor numera i England. Hans kurser hålls på engelska.
