For organisations who wish to arrange Swedex

Questions and answers for organisations outside of Sweden who want to apply to be a Swedex test centre. In Sweden, Swedex is offered exclusively by Folkuniversitetet.

Requirements for becoming a Swedex test centre

You must be actively teaching in Swedish as a foreign language and have access to certified Swedex examiners. It is also an advantage, but not a requirement, to have experience with other international language tests.

Are there centrally-determined fees for Swedex exams?

No. Every Swedex centre sets its own fees. However, all centres pay the same fee for the test material.

Is there a cost in getting a test centre licence for Swedex?

Yes. On being accepted as a test centre, there is an initial fee for a licence followed by an annual fee.

How can my organisation become a test centre for Swedex?

Contact swedex@folkuniversitetet.se and answer a number of questions. We reserve the right to decline applications that do not meet our requirements.
