What is demanded in order to become an examination centre for Swedex?

The department should have experience of education in Swedish as a foreign language and have access to educated examiners for Swedex. It is also good, but no requirement, if the department has experience of other international degrees in language.

How can my department become an examination centre for Swedex?

The department should apply for a Swedex licence. The application form (please see below) should be sent to swedex@folkuniversitetet.se or mailed to:

How can we get information on examiner training courses?

Examiner training courses are posted on Swedex' website and via our e-newsletter, once a term.

Are there centrally established fees for Swedex exams?

No. Every Swedex centre sets its own fees. However, all centres pay the same fee for the exam material.

Is there a cost in getting an examination centre licence for Swedex?

Yes. You pay a set fee of 2000 SEK for a licence and successively an annual fee.
