The primary purpose of this program is to improve your knowledge of Scandinavian and European politics, society and culture in terms of communication and functioning in a variety of contexts. Work on practical case studies will improve your grammar, pronunciation, oral fluency and English vocabulary. Additionally, you will learn basic Swedish sufficient for communication in the most common everyday situations.
This program is designed for participants with a knowledge of English corresponding to at least 3,5 points in IELTS or its equivalent. The program is a full-time program, i.e. 35-40 academic hours per week and consists of the following courses:
- Intercultural Communication
- Swedish and European Culture and Society
- English (conversation, phonetics, grammar)
- Situational English
- Swedish (A1-A2 level)
- Other social activities
